Michael lives and writes in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Maggie, son, Thatcher, and dog, Scout. He hails from Tennessee and is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His first novel - Montecito - was serialized in the Montecito Journal in 2022-23. His second novel - Carp - is out on submission to literary agents now.
